GATE2018 ELIGIBILITY
- Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
- Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs.
- Candidates in the second or higher year of Four-year integrated master's degree programs (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.
- Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year integrated master's degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering/Technology.
- NO AGE Limit
- Unlimited Attempts.

- First Section Consists of 25 Questions of 1 Mark Each.
- Second Section Consists of 30 Questions(26-55) of 2 Mark Each

The Question paper Consists of Multiple Choice and Numerical answer type questions.
- In Multiple choice type question ,each question has four choice for correct answer
- In Numerical Choice type question,there will be no option for this type of question, by using Virtual Keyboard we have to Enter the answer.For Numeric Answer type Question 25-40 marks

- General Aptitude-15 marks
- Engineering Mathematics-15 marks
Negative Marking:
- 1/3 marks for the questions carrying 1 mark.
- 2/3 marks for the 2 mark Questions.
- No negative marking for Numerical Answer Type questions.
General Aptitude (GA) section is common in all papers. It will contain total 15 questions of 15 marks (5 questions of 1 mark and 5 questions of 2 marks).
