Weighatage Strategy Subject wise

Electrical Circuits covers  10-11 Marks asked in GATE Exam. Mainly focus on only Problems only.So when study Less focus Theory part.Theory is not important more focus on Problem and practice more and more problem with different concepts

Electromagnetic Fields  averagely 5-7 Marks.this If  mainly focus on Basic Laws like Amperes Law,Gauss etc and practice some problems on this law then you'll get 3-5 marks easily.
whose you want rank Below 100 then you go through deeply about Concepts.

Signal and Systems is more Problematic subject this Contains less theory and more Problems are asked in GATE examination. Overlly 9-11 marks comes from Signal and Systems. In this subjects maily focus on Laplace Transforms,Z-Transform, Fourier Transform ,Basic Signals.

Control System is little bit on application strategy and Problematic one.Overlly in GATE Exam 9-11 Marks asked from the Control System only.D

Digital Electronics is easy and Scoring  and interesting subject in Gate Exam.more focus on K-Map and Computational and Sequential Circuits then you get 6-8 Marks easily.

Analog Electronics is little bit tough subjects you may read it at end of all your core subjects are 
completed.this less weighatage in Exam.

Power Electronics  is one of most scoring subject in GATE and in Interview purpose is essential subject.in GATE exam 8-10 Marks are comes from the Power Electronics.

Power System also most weighatage subject. Overly 10-12 Marks asked in GATE exam from Power System.Theory is not important more focus on Problem and practice more and more problem with different concepts

Electrical Machines is tough and more scoring subject  in GATE exam.this subject is more important for interview purpose during PSU or IIT admission.Every year 10-13 Marks are comes Electrical machines subject.Theory is not important more focus on Problem and practice more and more problem with different concepts.First understanding question is main important then after decoding the question.Transformers are most important concept.
